Andrew Kent
President
Andrew spent 9 years at CBA Australia followed by 6 years in online media.
This knowledge has led him to grow several professional associations across a range of industries. He is a current residential property investor.
Eric Sheers
Vice President
Eric is a seasoned investor with considerable landlord experience that has been attained over many years, investing in different states.
Peter Scollo
Committee member
(Commercial Portfolio)
During his career has owned 2 tyre franchises and in 1986 bought his first residential property. He has been a landlord for 38 years. He was President of the Chamber of Commerce for 8 years and member of Cranbourne Chamber of Commerce. He has owned 2 tyre franchises and knowledgeable expands into commercial leasing.
Peter is semi-retired and currently runs a holiday accommodation rental.
Roy Sanderson
Committee member
Roy worked for a residential builder for 6 years and then a commercial builder for 6 years before opening a Public Accountants office.
R J Sanderson & Associates Pty Ltd now has 10 locations boasting over 100 staff and specialise in advice for property investors.
Roy is an avid property investor and the firm have been voted Accountant of the Year by the Australian Property Magazine.
Geoff Ballard
Committee member
Having retired early, Geoff has been in both the public and private sectors. He is a certified public accountant and has a masters degree in applied finance.
He has had stints both in the federal treasury and the Victorian treasury, and established a successful money market and bond fund in the early 1980’s growing assets to in excess of 1 billion dollars. With broad knowledge and “hands on” experience in investment and money markets, his last position was the Investment Manager at Melbourne University.
Isabella Cowie-Murdica
Committee member
Isabella is a third year commerce student, able to apply practical business skills. Her family has been involved in property investment for many years and are strong supporters of the Australian Landlords Association.
Gaurav Bhatia
Committee member
Gaurav Bhatia is an Accredited Property Investment Advisor (QPIA®) and Director of Equimax Property Group, specialising in strategic, research-driven property investment advice. He works closely with individuals, families and SMSF investors to help build long-term wealth through tailored investment strategies, independent advice and the acquisition of high-quality investment properties.
Fiona Martin
Committee member
Fiona has worked as a real estate agent for over 15 years. With a background in sales and buyer advocacy, she is now principal of a vendor advocacy only business, Golden Alliance Vendor Representation. With a strong passion for property and people’s experiences as property owners, she is on the committee to see some big changes in representing landlords where they haven’t previously had a voice.
Fiona is also a landlord and currently a tenant which gives her an insight into rental industry from multiple perspectives, both personal and professional.
Metta Gorway-Hayes
Committee member
Metta, has been involved in real estate for over 50 years. She has been involved in both sales and rentals, both as an employee and business owner in private business and a corporate background.
Metta is also a Landlord and is very aware of the difficulties that they are facing, such as land tax,
compliance requirements and new legislation implications.
Metta is happy to help members with a rental or sales issue.
Lisa Hall

Lisa has been part of the print and digital industry for nearly 20 years. Has been involved in residential property for the last 15 years, maintaining a fabulous partnership with the same property manager for the past 10 years.
